How do I get there?

We are located at 501 1st St. SE, 2 blocks south of the courthouse square in Moultrie, GA.

Where do I park?

We have 2 parking lots located West and South of the church. Parking spaces for those with disabilities are located in the small parking lot right in front of the church.. Additional parking is available across the street to the South of the church. Click Here for a diagram of the church. (This will open in a separate window.) The diagram is NOT to scale! It will just give you a general idea of where the various parts of the church are located.

Where do I go?

If you are coming for worship please enter the sanctuary through the doors located on the South side of the sanctuary at the top of the ramp, or on the North side of the sanctuary near the middle of the building. (These entrances are highlighted in yellow on the diagram.) If you are coming for Sunday School go to the Fellowship Hall (see the large arrow on the diagram) and someone will direct you to the appropriate area of the church..

Where do my children go?

If you have babies through one year old take them to the Nursury (small building directly behind the Fellowship Hall).

2 yr. olds through 3rd grade are on the ground floor in the Stegall building (directly East of the sanctuary).

4 & 5 graders are on the 2nd floor of the Stegall building.

Middle School meets upstaris in the sanctuary right over the North entrance.

High School meets upstairs in the Fellowship Hall building.

Once again, if you go into the Fellowship Hall there will be someone to help you on your way.

What are worship services like?

We have one very traditional worship service beginning at 11:00 am.

As you enter our sanctuary an usher will greet you and hand you a printed worship bulletin. Just before worship begins our pastor will make announcements. The organ will then begin the service with a prelude. The choir sings a call to worship which is followed by a spoken call to worship. Included in our services are congregational singing of hymns, an invocation, a welcome and an informal greeting of those sitting around you. You will not be singled out, asked to stand and be recognized as a visitor, but we would appreciate it if you will fill out a guest card located in the pew and then drop in the offering plate when passed.

As the service continues our pastor calls the children forward for a children’s sermon. If you have a child who will not come forward on his own, please walk to the front with them if you like. After the children's sermon, those up through 2nd grade are invited to accompany an adult couple to "Children's Church" or they are also welcome to return to their seats with their parents. The offering is collected and we sing the "Doxology" as the plates are returned to the front of the sanctuary. One of our deacons will deliver the offertory prayer. The adult choir sings an anthem. The pastor will read the scripture for that day and then deliver his sermon. After the sermon, we join in saying "The Apostles Creed" which is printed in the worship bulletin. We sing a closing hymn. the pastor gives the spoken benediction and the choir sings a benediction.

We have a time of fellowship after the service on the lawn to the west of the sanctuary. Please linger so we have a chance to say hello and welcome you to our church.

There is a nursery during any worship time for infants – 3 yr olds.

The first Sunday of each month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper during the worship service. Our tradition is that we eat the bread when it is passed, but we hold the cup until all have been served and then drink the cup together.

Baptisms are held during the worship service as needed.

How do I become a member?

There are three ways to become a member:

By Profession of Faith and Baptism – Those making a public profession of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are received into the membership awaiting baptism.

By Letter from another Christian church – For persons who are baptized members of another Christian church. We will write to the previous church for transfer of letter.

If you are interested in becoming a member of our church, please speak to the pastor after worship or call the church at 229-985-1358.
